Downtown Revitalization

James is a former Board Member of the Future Ligonier Alliance, a group started with the intent of

revitalizing Historic Downtown Ligonier, Indiana, his hometown. Ligonier, Indiana is located in

Noble County, and James has worked with the Noble County Downtown Revitalization

Group formed in 2010 to address the needs of the Downtowns of the Cities and Towns of Noble

County. James believes strong communities are important and that a vibrant downtown is a vital

part of any community.

James has also received Certification from the National Charrette Institute for the National Charrette

Systems Training. With this training, James is able to assist Communities with Community Planning

through the Public Charrette system having an understanding of the key players, components, people,

and experts needed to make Community Planning Successful.
